Komfort Foundation is extending its humanitarian work to include the disadvantaged people regardless of caste, community or area of domicile. This is wonderful. If we are to make a difference in this world, it is only by extending our help to all those who need it. When it is done without any narrowness of belief and without prejudice, its effects will be far greater.

Through Nalanda Trust we started two libraries in Coorg -- at Appacha Kavi School, Ponnampet and at Triveni School, Virajpet. Books in Kannada and English have been supplied and with our co-ordination, the libraries will run various activities and competitions for children. We are trying to reach the disadvantaged students mainly. They were both set up during my visit towards the end of 2010 and the libraries started to function from April 2011.

I extend my heartfelt support to this cause and hope that every one will do their bit to help.
